My name, in case you missed it, is Dominic Colacchio. I am a recent graduate of Brooks Institute, in Ventura, Calif., where I earned a degree in Visual Journalism. After three long years of intense Photography training I've decided to try something different for a while...
In a few weeks I'll be heading North to Alaska. Now I know what those of you who have seen "Into the Wild" are thinking... I'm not going to live out in the woods by myself. I'm going to work on a fishing boat to pay back my student loans. And yes - I am bringing my camera.
This blog is where I will be posting some photos and telling stories from my adventures, of which I hope to have many.
